With its historic quarter, antique shops, colorful bars and milongas,
San Telmo is one of the most traditional places of Buenos Aires. It
is a few blocks from Plaza de Mayo (main square in Buenos Aires City),
3 blocks away from Puerto Madero (Madero Harbor), and next to all the
subway lines, many buses, etc.

CasaTelmo is personally
run
by its Owners. |
Plaza Dorrego (Dorrego square) is the center of
all the events that take place in the neighborhood. There are coffee
shops, restaurants and bars with their tables in the square, where tango
musicians and dancers surprise visitors.
On Sundays, the traditional Antique Fair takes place, which provides
a glimpse of Buenos Aires' past. It is surrounded by antique shops,
the studios of well-known artists, goldsmiths and silversmiths, fillet
artists and plastic artists.
If you come to Buenos Aires, you can get accommodation meters away from
Plaza Dorrego, at a traditional house built in the 30s, where the hallway,
decorated with green creepers full of flowers in spring, brings back
the lyrics of an old tango.
